Today we conducted an index of refraction lab. Some of us pretended to be Darth Vader and destroyed Alderaan. Other decided to be good and kill cancer. The point of the lab was to measure a substances index of refraction, and then apply that to real life to make a laser bend to hit a target on the wall.
